Volunteers make a difference in the local community across a range of roles, including boosting donations, packing food parcels, providing a warm welcome, tackling loneliness, signposting to additional services, connecting with partners, raising awareness and leading projects.

Volunteer roles

Foodbank Volunteer

You will be part of a team, and we all support each other. We need help to weigh, label, sort and store donated food. We also have volunteers who select the food and prepare parcels for clients to collect. You could help in this vital work to ensure we have the right food available at all times.

Web editor

Our local website needs constant attention. Could your digital skills help communicate our message to a local and global audience? You will need to know a little about websites and ideally have experience using a content management system such as WordPress or Drupal (though training and support is available).
